Independent Senior Living Communities
Our Downsizing Seminars are extremely AFFORDABLE and reach your potential
new residents in ways you can't.
Most people who may be considering downsizing don't typically wake up one morning and begin sorting and packing their households. Downsizing involves a series of important decisions and steps that eventually lead to living a simpler, less complicated life.
Many times, those with a true interest in downsizing can toss the idea around for months and even years before actually making up their mind and taking action steps to move forward.
Our seminars are presented in an engaging and informative manor. Here are some of the topics discussed:
-
Stuff--the excess of life. Identifying and eliminating the unimportant.
-
What are some of the roadblocks to successful downsizing?
-
How long does it take to downsize?
-
What are the steps involved in downsizing and what is the hardest part of the process?
-
What is a task timeline--what, how, when?
-
How do you avoid becoming overwhelmed and giving up?
-
How do you overcome the fear of getting rid of too much?
-
Can I begin the process steps even if I don't plan to move right away? Remember, not everyone who downsizes, moves.
-
How do I get rid of the things I no longer want?
...and more!
